I currently work at 24 Hour Fitness Sport as the front desk receptionist. I love to work out so this is a great job for me. When I work the cash register sometimes the mom and dad's bring their sons and daughters with them and the children start counting their parents money and I ask them how much their mommy or daddy will get back and they get so excited when they tell me. Seeing children get excited at the gym and learning brightens my day and I cannot wait to be a teacher so I can experience that joy everyday.
The reason I want to be a teacher is because of my eleventh grade history teacher. He was the first teacher that told me I could be more and do better. After taking my first advanced placement class with him and passing the final test I realized that I may have done better if I had not just settled when I was younger when my teacher's told me that I did my best. I want to be the teacher that pushes their student's toward excellence each and everyday.
